Oft referred to as the gold metal alchemist, Ion is a tricksy leprechaun with green coat and leather hat. His hat is adorned with bottles and goggles to assist him in his explorations into human magic which they have been known to call science (for unknown reasons). Ion loves tricks of the eye and the wonders that humans have learned. He especially likes to discover new secrets from human children about their science. The grown-ups seem to know less of it then the wee folk. True to Leprechaun lore, Ion can be very subtle and disappear if you take your eyes off him – that’s why you gotta keep your eye on the Leprechaun!
